ABOUT me, GARY NOLTON

Based in Portland Oregon, I travel for assignments across the U.S. and Worldwide. Lifestyle, sports, and outdoor photography are my main specialties.

Creating observant, interesting, and engaging images has been in my blood since 12 years of age and Dad gave me an old hand-me-down 35mm camera. 

After attending Art Center College of Design as a Film Major, I migrated here to beautiful Oregon and embarked on a soaring career shooting advertising & editorial work for clients worldwide.  I am also also a filmmaker and owns the acclaimed production company Limbo Films. Over the years there have been dozens of awards and accolades, the most notable being my well known 'Wings' poster of NBA legend Michael Jordan being included in the permanent collection of the Library of Congress. I still sometimes shoot with the 4×5 Sinar P that I made that image with.

Most importantly, I am the proud father of 4. Also a music lover, slave to my dog ‘Blue’ and hopeless idiot for tacos & all things BBQ.
